Check-ins
Interrupt autopilot
Morning Ignition, Avoidance, Direction, and Truth bring your stated direction back into the day while there is still time to act.
iPhone & iPad · iOS 26 · Private by design
Tend turns long-term direction into a day you can act on. Define the life you want to build, catch yourself before autopilot takes over, protect one meaningful block, and close the day with an honest record of how you showed up.
Vision. Action. Reflection. Repeat.
First
Write the life you're building — and the dull, tolerable version of it you refuse to drift into. Everything after is measured against those two.
All day
Four Check-ins land at the hours that matter and pull your stated direction back into view while there is still time to act on it.
Each night
Tend Debrief compares the direction you named with the choices you actually recorded, then names the gap, the pattern, and one move for tomorrow.
Tend in 10 seconds
See how Tend connects identity, daily action, Focus, reflection, and private on-device intelligence without turning self-improvement into another noisy feed.

Set the compass once
Onboarding explains the practice, helps you write your Vision first and your Anti-Vision second, and lets you choose how Tend looks and when it should remind you. Your direction becomes the context for every day after.
The daily practice
Each completed action adds 10 points: four Check-ins, two Evening Synthesis answers, three Lens answers, and one Focus session. The score measures participation, not your worth.

Check-ins
Morning Ignition, Avoidance, Direction, and Truth bring your stated direction back into the day while there is still time to act.
2
Synthesis
Name what today revealed about who you are becoming, then choose one honest move for tomorrow. Two questions, one useful close.
3
Lens
Move from the life you want in one year, to the project that matters this month, to the actions you will time-block tomorrow.
1
Focus
Choose a concrete commitment, run the timer, and capture the result. The point is not more activity; it is one block that actually mattered.
How it lands in a real day
08:00 · Morning Ignition
Answer the first Check-in with your Vision in view. The day starts with a direction instead of whatever arrives first.
11:00 — 18:00 · Daytime
Avoidance, Direction, and Truth Check-ins interrupt autopilot. Focus turns the next meaningful move into protected time.
21:00 · Evening Synthesis
Answer the two Synthesis prompts, align the One Year, One Month, and Today Lens, then open Tend Debrief when it is unlocked.
Tend Debrief
Once your Vision and Anti-Vision are defined, your Evening Synthesis is complete, and today's score reaches 30, Tend uses Apple Intelligence on your device to compare your stated direction with the choices you recorded.
Tend Debrief runs on your device; your entries do not leave the app. It requires an Apple Intelligence-compatible device with Apple Intelligence enabled. The rest of Tend works on every supported device running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26.
Where your stated direction and your recorded behavior diverged today.
The internal pattern that kept getting in the way, named plainly.
One concrete adjustment, grounded in what actually happened today.
Go deeper. Continue with a short, private follow-up conversation about any of the three.
Keep the evidence
These are not separate productivity features. They connect the intention you set to the work you complete and the record you can inspect later.
Focus
Name the meaningful move, choose a duration, work, then record the result, blocker, or insight. Tend restores an in-progress session if you leave or reopen the app. Completing a Focus session contributes 10 points to the day.
Journal
Review daily scores, Check-ins, Synthesis, Lens, Focus notes, and Tend Debriefs in one timeline. The seven-day view makes repeated patterns easier to see.
Before you download
Only for Tend Debrief. The full daily practice — Vision and Anti-Vision, the four Check-ins, Evening Synthesis, Lens, Focus, the daily score, and the Journal — works on every supported device running iOS 26 or iPadOS 26. Tend Debrief additionally requires an Apple Intelligence-compatible device with Apple Intelligence turned on.
No. Your entries stay in the app, and Tend Debrief runs on your device rather than on a server. There is no account to create and nothing to sync.
Ten actions spread across the day: four short Check-ins, two Evening Synthesis answers, three Lens answers, and one Focus block you choose the length of. The Check-ins and Synthesis are brief prompts, not long journaling sessions.
Nothing breaks. The score measures participation for that day, not your worth, and the Journal keeps the record so you can see patterns rather than chase a perfect streak.
Tend is free to download on the App Store.
Vision. Action. Reflection. Repeat.
Set a direction you can name. Complete ten actions you can count. Keep a record you can inspect. Tend is a calm, private practice for closing the gap between the person you intend to become and the day you actually live.
